Bloom mirror
Bloom takes the simple shape of a petal and gives it a sculptural presence. Its edge curls gently at the top, like a petal just beginning to unfurl, an organic gesture that feels both familiar and slightly unexpected. Rather than a perfectly defined botanical form, Bloom embraces the softness and irregularity of something shaped by nature. Each mirror is first sculpted by hand in wax, so the form develops through the movement of the hand, then cast in aluminum and carefully polished, bringing out the richness of the metal and the subtle contours of the sculpture. Inspired by a form in motion, a petal unfurling or curling, Bloom captures something in the quiet act of growth. That sense of movement gives it its character: a mirror that feels less designed than grown.
